1. What We Collect
When you verify with Discord, Glitch collects and stores:
- Your Discord user ID (a numeric identifier)
- Your Discord username (at time of verification)
- The date and time of verification
During normal bot use, we also store gameplay data associated with your Discord user ID: cards you own, currency balances, wishlist entries, album contents, and interaction history.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- Your email address, password, or any Discord account credentials
- The content of your Discord messages (only bot commands are processed)
- Payment information of any kind
- Location data
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to operate and improve the Glitch bot experience. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third parties.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as you actively use the Bot or until you request deletion. You may request removal of your data by contacting us via the support server.
5. Security
Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Render. We take reasonable measures to protect it, though no system is completely immune to breaches.
6. Third Parties
Glitch uses Discord's OAuth2 service for login. Please review Discord's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your data.
7. Your Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us via the support server to exercise these rights.
